I met Melanie Mensing,
Autumn Hills Standard Poodles, in 2006. In 2007, I decided to use her Sawyer Brown to breed to my Juliana. About
the time for the breeding to be done, I happened across a very unusual brown European Standard Poodle pedigree and mentioned
it to Melanie, since she breeds a lot of brown Standards. One thing led to another, and we decided to import and co-own
a puppy from this litter. According to the Poodle Health Registry, the COI of this puppy (with some few missing ancestors)
is 2.5%. Bred in the Czech Republic, he arrived in the U.S. at age 11 weeks, ready and rarin' to go!
He went to PCA 2008 and received quite a bit of attention. We believe that he will have something to offer Standard
breeders in the next few years. He is currently residing in beautiful Wisconsin with Melanie. We have begun preliminary
health testing on him. Those results will be posted here as they are completed.
